When in Rome

After almost 3 months in California, it was time to fly home.

My precious daughter, Sky,  joined me, after her own trip to Washington, so we could fly home together.

Now, I’m not one for desserts, candies or much in the sweet department beyond adult beverages…

but as the ole’ adage goes…

When in ROME.

So to the Candy Shop we went…and even had a Cotton Candy dessert after our last dinner in Cali.

Leading us on this sweet treat tour of L.A. was none other than the stylish, beautiful and oh so talented owner of Yellow Heart Photography, Leyna Ambron.  (note: Leyna was NOT on professional camera duty on this adventure…so these photos are NOTHING to the caliber of photographer she is!)

Leyna knew exactly what would make a little girl’s heart sing, Sky was loving our sugar filled night.

I may not be one for sweet goodies, but this was the cherry on top of a very roller coaster of a summer.

A perfectly positive evening to say la-vi to the west coast.
